‘Come Get Marinated’!!

For all those interested in everything and anything to do with the Marine environment and our Oceans, this is the club team for you!

The CRLS National Ocean Science Bowl (NOSB) team is one of the most challenging and competitive teams at CRLS. We study all aspects of the Oceans to compete in a very intense competition in February at MIT. This means that we look at how the Oceans work in terms of Physics, Chemistry, Earth Sci, History, Social Studies, and Biology, really everything that makes the Oceans work.

We meet after school for presentations, lectures, labs, guest speakers, field trips, and practice buzzer sessions.

So if you think you have what it takes or are just fascinated by the sea and all things marine related, then come get your feet wet and get ‘Marinated’ into the depths of Marine Science with the CRLS NOSB team.

In the past, team members have also been involved in the Marine Science Internship program where they get placed into labs at Harvard, MIT, BU, the New England Aquarium, and others to work on real world Marine related research projects.

See Mr. McGuinness in 3402 for more information.
