Be All Right: Building a Culture of Health at CRLS

The Cambridge Prevention Coalition, a program of the Cambridge Public Health Department, is partnering with CRLS leadership and community groups to invite students to help build a “culture of health” at CRLS.

On October 21, sophomores and other interested students will participate in a fun, interactive event to celebrate healthy behaviors and learn more about resources and actions they can take. Topics include substance abuse, mental health, healthy relationships, health services, and social justice.

When? Tuesday, October 21st – Immediately following lunch (11:45AM – 2:15PM). This is an early release day for Parent Teacher conferences.

Where? Begins in CRLS Auditorium; health fair takes place in the Media Café.

What?

  • Substance abuse hot topics and discussion with expert, Dr. Kevin Hill
  • Earn community service hours
  • Video screening by student group Leaders in Action
  • Interactive health fair with tables from community organizations and student groups like 84 Movement; Conflict Mediators; STARs; Club One
  • Prizes, giveaways, and more!
