Favorite Class at CRLS
European History. It was great to learn the history that is often not taught at any other times in high school. Ms. Macias is a great teacher, and the in-class work is very engaging.

Favorite Teacher
Ms. Zhaurova makes class fun. When you are taking AP Chemistry it can be extremely challenging at times; having Ms. Zhaurova makes it easer. She is a great person to talk to about science, and it is also fun to hear stories about her amazing past!

What did you like most about CRLS? Why?
I loved the huge diversity of interests and ideas. While you may not be able to find people to disagree with politically, you will find individuals who do soccer and science internships, theater and math club. It is great to meet people who participate in a diverse range of activities; it creates a community that connects the whole school.

What is something people unfamiliar with CRLS should know about the school? Why?
There are amazing opportunities if you look for them; reach out to teachers about being a TA, doing an independent study, getting a summer internship. Everyone is trying to help you succeed; make sure to take advantage!

Advice to Incoming Freshmen
Sign up for as many clubs as you can! Although eventually you will have to pick priorities, it is a good idea to try out a lot of different activities so you wind up with activities that you are interested in!
