Favorite Class at CRLS
AP English Language. Because AP Lang required students to discuss and support their arguments in ways that are rare in most classroom settings. It was informal, but still very educational.
Favorite Teacher
Mr. Kells. He engages with the students in a really organic manner, but also understands how to effectively teach to students, no matter the climate of the classroom.
What did you like most about CRLS? Why?
I loved the feeling of walking around the hallways and feeling accepted and embraced by everyone at the school.
What is something people unfamiliar with CRLS should know about the school? Why?
Although our football record doesn’t show it, our school spirit is unparalleled!
Advice to Incoming Freshmen
Don’t ever not do something you want to do just because it isn’t “normal”. You will not improve or become better by being normal and doing the same things that everyone else is doing; you become better by being different.
