Favorite subject at CRLS
Math
Why is it your favorite subject?
I’m a big numbers guy. They just flow nicely in my head, way better than words at least. It’s super satisfying to figure out a tough problem, and numbers are super useful when it comes to making money.
Favorite CRLS Staff Person
Ms. Lozada, Ms. Leonard, Ms. Brisk, Mr. Cohen
What makes that staff person so special?
Their classes are definitely the ones I will remember the most. They were all super engaging and genuinely nice people.
Extracurricular activities, clubs, school-related activities
My own sneaker business is the main thing, I’ve also done a lot of work with supporting young people.
What were some of the out-of-school time (O.S.T) programs that you participated in anytime between grades 6-12?
Russell Youth Center
How did being enrolled in any O.S.T. program(s) contribute to your success both in and out of high school?
All throughout middle school and high school, the Russell Youth Center has been a great place for me to be at. Playing basketball and getting my cardio in was always great, and I also got to work there for a summer.
What did you like most about CRLS? Why?
I feel like I’ve heard a lot of very diverse perspectives through my time at CRLS. Between both teachers and classmates I’ve been able to learn through everyone’s unique experiences.
What is something people unfamiliar with CRLS should know about the school? Why?
Honestly it is just a super cool place to be at, there are not many other high schools out there that have the kinds of opportunities we get.
What advice would you give incoming freshmen about CRLS?
4 years goes by fast, but you also change a lot as a person in those 4 years. Definitely take advantage of everything you can while at Rindge, but there is also no need to get too far ahead of yourself so enjoy it while you can.
