CRLS students are not required to take an AP test just because they are seated in an AP class, so a test will not be ordered unless it is requested and paid for by the deadline.
Students must JOIN their class in College Board in order to test.
- A code will be provided by the classroom teacher
- If a student is self-studying then they need me to set up an EXAM ONLY session for them.
- EXAM ONLY sessions have an initial deadline in the Fall, and after that the College Board requires a late fee. Please reach out to me in the Fall so I can set this up and provide you with a JOIN CODE.
- Once a student has joined the course, they will change their test status in College Board to YES.
- Communication with students will be via email using the account in College Board. Check your profile and verify your email address ASAP.
- All test order status’ will default to UNDECIDED. Students will need to select YES or NO.
Payment
- Payment needs to be made or the test(s) will not be ordered.
- Payments are made through MySchoolBucks.
- A test will not automatically be ordered for you.
- Unpaid tests will not be ordered.
Payment Deadlines
- After the ordering and payment deadlines have passed, there will be no exceptions made to the ordering process.
- Deadlines are planned with enough time to follow up and process our order successfully.
- If people call College Board they will be directed back to the school. Once our CRLS deadline has passed, it doesn't matter what College Board says or promises.
- All CRLS deadlines and expectations are communicated clearly and frequently.
Ordering Deadlines
- 10/31: CRLS on time order deadline for all Semester 1 and FY courses
- 2/26: CRLS Spring order/change deadline for all courses - Semester 1, Semester 2, and FY courses
- Tests for round 1 can still be ordered after 10/31 with a late fee
- The only changes made after the 2/26 deadline will be cancellations - partial refunds will be given until 5/1
- Round 2 deadline of 2/26 is FINAL
- Students will be able to find a testing center to host them if they do their research. CRLS will close our sessions at the round 2 deadline on 2/26. There are no exceptions.
Scheduling
Students are expected to take their AP test the first time it is offered during regular testing weeks, unless they have extended time accommodations or 2 of their AP tests are scheduled at the exact same time. If that is the case, one will be moved for you based on what has already been scheduled for late testing. We cannot honor special requests around scheduling.
View the current AP test schedule from AP/College Board site (CRLS will not offer all of these)
