The High School Extension Program (HSEP)
The High School Extension Program serves up to 60 students in grades 9-12 and is part of the Cambridge Public School District. The school is located at the Longfellow Building at 359 Broadway. Modeled on other successful, non-traditional high school programs in the nation, this program allows students to learn in an alternative setting with focuses on academic skill building, critical thinking and authentic, project-based learning experiences.
Our personalized setting permits students who have not performed well in school elsewhere an opportunity to be successful academically and socially to meet their goals for a post-secondary path.
