Congratulations to CRLS Photography Students

Four CRLS students represented CRLS in the 2nd Annual Photography Exhibit at the Carney Gallery of Regis College Fine Arts Center in Weston, MA, hosted by the Griffin Museum of Photography in Winchester, MA. 104 photographers from 26 independent and public high schools were chosen by their photography teachers to participate in the exhibit. CRLS Photography teacher, Deborah Milligan, chose four students’ photographs to exhibit in the Carney Gallery. The show was juried by Paula Tognarelli, executive director of the Griffin Museum in Winchester, MA. Cambridge Rindge and Latin sophomore, Sachiko Kirby, was the First Place winner and received the Griffin Award for her photograph relating to climate change, Crying Over Spilt Milk. Also participating from CRLS were Sophomore Josie Dickman who won an Honorary Mention Award, Gabe Herman (Junior) and Austin Guest (Junior). The reception and award ceremony was attended by many students, families, and teachers on Sunday, Jan. 5 at the Carney Gallery of Regis College.
