It is our great joy to share and celebrate the wonderful news that the CRLS Traveling Chorus, directed by Dr. Ivan Stefanov and the CRLS Big Band Jazz Ensemble, directed by Mr. Nate Powers both won FIRST place and received superior ratings from judges at the Music in the Parks Festival at Westfield University this past Saturday!
A few highlights from this celebratory win:
- Students Elias Seidman 24', who plays the trumpet received best soloist and ensemble award.
- Sabrina Urbancik 24' (Soprano Voice) received best soloist with an ensemble award.
- Most importantly, students, teachers, and staff had a BLAST at the festival, and had amazing performance

You can enjoy the music of the Traveling Chorus, Big Band Jazz Ensemble, and the World Jazz Ensemble with special guest Assistant Principal Tynes performing this spring at Jazz Night 2022 on Thursday, June 2 at 7PM in the Fitzgerald Theater.
