Chromebook Pickup and Distribution for CRLS 9th Graders

Hello Families of Rising 9th Graders,

We hope this email finds you well!

Each student that is entering 9th grade will be receiving a new Chromebook to use through their high school experience. For the student to receive their device, they, along with their family will need to complete the Electronic Device Agreement that is found in the CPS family portal. Once the agreement is completed, an email will be manually sent out by CPS’ ICTS Helpdesk to the family and student confirming receipt of the agreement and the for pick up.

Please wait until confirmation email is received before coming to CRLS. Lookout for an email with the subject line-
“CRLS Confirmation: Chromebook Pickup”


To access the Family Portal:

  • Go to the CPS Family Portal Website, here is the link
  • Login with the email address that is associated with Aspen
  • If unsure of password, please click the reset password link
  • An email will be sent to the email address that is associated with Aspen with a link
  • Once logged in, please select Sign Consent Forms
  • Select the student’s name
  • In the drop down menu, select Electronic Device User Agreement
  • Once the agreement is signed, please click submit agreement

If unable to access the digital agreement, a fillable PDF is included in this email. Please fill out the agreement and email it to [email protected] 

Copies of the agreement will also be available at the helpdesk. A guardian must be present with the student to complete the form. Please reach out to [email protected] for the schedule for pick up.
