Favorite Class at CRLS
History. All of the history classes I've taken at Rindge have not only taught me the material, they've made me a better critical thinker, writer, and person.

Favorite Teacher
I had Mr. Patterson for both Geometry and Calculus. He is an amazing teacher, and really helped me learn why math is important in the real world and how it works. He's a very intentional teacher, he structures his class so students are teaching each other as much as he is lecturing, which often means you learn things without realizing.

What are some of the out-of-school time (OST) programs that you participated in between grades 6 - 12?
None

How did being enrolled in any OST program(s) contribute to your success in and out of high school?
N/A

What did you like most about CRLS? Why?
Block scheduling! Taking only four classes at a time means you can focus much more on the classes you're taking, and gives a ton of flexibility. It also let me get through most of my requirements early and take more classes in the subjects I was really interested in.

What is something people unfamiliar with CRLS should know about the school? Why?
The building is color coded! The color of tiles on the floor corresponds with the second digit of any room number, which makes it so much easier to find classrooms once you learn it.

Advice to Incoming Freshmen
Read through the course catalog. Every semester new classes and electives are added, some of which you've never even thought about before! Also, if you're interested in an out of school internship or summer work, talk to your teachers! They often know of programs and can make introductions for you.
