The office
works closely with local preschool centers to enhance program quality, and provides families with scholarships to enroll their children in those programs that meet the highest quality standards.
Programs that achieve a good score on two assessments -- Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scale (ECERS) and Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) -- become eligible to accept students with scholarships, whether or not they are part of the Partnership’s program quality improvement efforts.
This year, the Partnership has funded scholarships for 58 children to enroll in preschool. Low-income families with children who will be 2 years and 9 months or older by August 1st of each school year are eligible. If your child is not already enrolled in preschool and you do not have a child care voucher,
please apply by March 31, 2022 for best consideration. For additional information, please contact Allen Kesten, Scholarship Specialist at
