CRLS Student Recognized for Her Aspirations in Computing

DianeDina Voevodsky, a CRLS senior, was recently recognized for her achievements in computing. Among all young women nationwide, Dina won the National Honorable Mention Award by NCWIT for Aspirations in Computing from the National Center for Women in Information Technology (NCWIT). Previously, Dina was identified as the single recipient of the 2018 Massachusetts Affiliate Winner of the NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing. The award states “You were chosen because of your computing-related aspirations and achievements, and for your leadership ability, academic performance, and future plans."

Every year, the NCWIT holds a national award ceremony to recognize the winners and conduct talks, panels, networking opportunities for accomplished young women at the high school and college levels. This year, Dina and others will be celebrated at an award ceremony at MIT, which will take place on Saturday, May 19, 2018.

On top of all her accomplishments, Dina has also been accepted to several top universities. Please join with us as we congratulate Dina for her dedication to her education and pursuing future successes in computing.
