art projectEarlier this month, The Community Arts Center in collaboration with DivcoWest unveiled a new installation at Cambridge Crossing called Pillars of Past, Present, & Future. The project features artwork designed by students in the digital design program at the CAC, many of whom are students from CRLS. Artists interviewed local residents about what the area means to them, then the artists used these perspectives for inspiration. The results are a colorful, dynamic and moving tribute to the East Cambridge community.

CRLS Sophomore Greggy Bazile was asked what he liked about the project: “I really enjoyed meeting new people around East Cambridge, and it was great to be able to transform their feelings for East Cambridge into works of art.”

If you want to see the installation, it is located under the Gilmore Bridge along North Point Blvd. Contributing CRLS artists: Greggy Bazile, Saadiq Farah, Alon Jacobson, Lyrice Martin Jr., Diomanie Ramirez, and Alejandro Ruiz. Well done to this talented group!
