Rindge Building/ RSTA Garage & Media Studio Student Item Pick-Up

Dates: Tuesday, June 9th - Thursday, June 11th

The school has developed an opportunity for students who have lockers in the Rindge Building, RSTA Garage or RSTA Media Studio to come to CRLS to empty their lockers. The Arts Building will be locked and there will be no access allowed to the Arts Building. Students with items in the Arts Building will be contacted about locker time at a future date. Please note the following in advance of this opportunity-

  • All Massachusetts/ Cambridge social distancing guidelines for COVID-19 will be adhered to. We are expecting students to maintain 6 ft minimum social distancing while on campus and in the building. Social distancing measures will be assisted by chalk lines (outside) and entry staggered based on people counted in the building/on floors. No more than 60 students will be allowed in the building at a time and no more than 15 per floor.

  • If you are sick or feeling unwell, please do not come to the building. Instead, let your Learning Community team know so they may arrange a date at a later time for you to pick up your items.

  • Masks must be worn while students are in the building. Gloves and hand sanitizer will be available if needed.

  • In order to accommodate the number of students who need to remove items from their lockers, we are scheduling students for 15 minutes to collect their items.

  • Bathroom access will not be available

Please see the schedule below for the dates and times when students can enter the building alphabetically by last name-

Tuesday, June 9: 8:30-11AM | A, B, C, D ,E, F

The Main Entrance will be closed and students will enter Door #9 on Cambridge Street. Students will be directed up Stairwell 9 to the floor of their locker. After retrieving personal items they will be directed to exit a door on the Broadway side of building, Stairwell 2 near the Student Registration Center. There will be a textbook and Chromebook return desk on the Felton Street side of the building where the carpentry shop class is located. All floors will operate as "One Way" as this will assist in preventing extended time in building, socializing and paths crossing. A Safety Specialist will be located on every floor. Bags to collect personals will be made available and trash barrels will be throughout.

Please contact the school if you have questions regarding this matter.

Sincerely,

Damon Smith
