Favorite CRLS Staff Person
Mr. Martinez

What makes that staff person so special?
He's always open to help, and gives students a lot of freedom. He's able to recognize when guidance is needed and when it's best for students to figure things out on their own.

Extracurricular activities, clubs, school-related activities
Volleyball Club President. CSV Peer Tutor. Varsity Boys Volleyball

What were some of the out-of-school time (O.S.T) programs that you participated in anytime between grades 6-12?
N/A

How did being enrolled in any O.S.T. program(s) contribute to your success both in and out of high school?
Helped me better understand team dynamics and cooperation.

What did you like most about CRLS? Why?
The freedom in course selection and connections to things like Harvard and the Harvard Extension School. It let me challenge myself in unique ways, and granted me access to courses and pathways that no other schools provide.

What is something people unfamiliar with CRLS should know about the school? Why?
There's a place for anyone and anything at CRLS, don't feel afraid or ashamed of something you enjoy, and always be open to trying something new. You'll enjoy yourself so much more if you let go of the supposed fear and pressure associated with high school.

What advice would you give incoming freshmen about CRLS?
There's countless opportunities, from clubs to sports to courses, make sure that you consider all of your options and explore everything you can, don't force yourself into a narrow set path.
