Favorite Class at CRLS
History. This is where I felt that I grew and learned the most. History at Rindge encompasses some of the most important information for us to know and apply.

Favorite Teacher
I have to say Scott Cody because in all realness, he is just my friend. He was a person that looked out for me all four years of high school. He is kind and has many friends throughout the school, people he knows from many years at CRLS and people he has met recently. Mr. Prince is also this way and he is someone who has inspired and impressed me.

I want to say that I appreciate the teaching from Natasha Labaze and Brahim Khiraoui. From my experience, these teachers care so much about their students' understanding and they definitely made my time better. They have so much love.

What are some of the out-of-school time (OST) programs that you participated in between grades 6 - 12?
None

How did being enrolled in any OST program(s) contribute to your success in and out of high school?
N/A

What did you like most about CRLS? Why?
I like the hallways and everyone they carry. It is funny to come out of class and enter this space of so many people. It reminds you where you are.

What is something people unfamiliar with CRLS should know about the school? Why?
There is opportunity but also a great lack of opportunity. The school often claims opportunity as one of its best features, but that suggests even access (which is far from true). This is not a school built for everyone to have the chance to thrive. Many students and staff are working to change levels of access/the voices heard, but many things remain static due to the constraints of a system that needs huge reform.

Advice to Incoming Freshmen
It can be easy to just drill ahead and try to finish things, like I did in ways. But I would try to be more conscious if I were to be back at Rindge. Try to look up and be in your community, whatever that is. Find a place that you feel actually helps you and others.
