Assistant Director Library Media Services
BJ Novak, author, actor, and comedian, recently visited Cambridgeport School students from Kindergarten through 3rd grade, to share his new book,
The Book With No Pictures!. BJ read his new book, “
The Book With No Pictures” and answered questions from students in the audience. Liz reports, “Because the kids LOVED the book so much, BJ asked me to read it to the kids as well! This was done to prove the point that WORDS ARE POWERFUL, they can make ANYONE say silly things, in this case- the author, a librarian, perhaps a parent! I really like the message this book sends. While the words are silly, it illustrates (without pictures, no less!) that words are compelling and can have us feel and think things outside of what is happening directly in our lives. Kudos to BJ for writing a self aware book!”. This wonderful opportunity was provided to Cambridge by Harvard Books Store.
