Student Registration Center

The Student Registration Center (SRC) serves as the central intake point for student registration, processing more than 1,200 student applications each year. The SRC supports the flow of information in multiple languages to incoming families about CPS, district policies, Department of Human Services Programs, and other city resources. The SRC educates families about the Controlled Choice program as part of recruitment efforts and maintains student enrollment data and school waitlists.

The SRC provides options for families to register their children for school. Families can walk in and register in-person at the SRC office, make an appointment by calling 617.349.6551, submit a registration via email at [email protected], or submit a registration online using our Registration Gateway System. The online registration system allows families to upload the required documents and complete all registration forms from any computer or using their mobile phone.

SRC staff members are available to answer questions by phone and e-mail Monday through Friday, 8:30AM - 3:30PM. Please call us at 617.349.6551 or e-mail us at [email protected].

Please do not use the post to send any school registration forms, documents, school records, hardship appeals, transfer requests, etc. to the SRC.
