Favorite Class at CRLS
Latin. Latin helped me understand the structure of language more than any other class. Aside from introducing me to thousand year old epics whose themes hold true even today, Latin clarified various grammar and vocabulary concepts that have helped me tremendously in writing and analysis.

Favorite Teacher
I've had a lot of great teachers over the years, but if I had to pick one, I'd pick Ms. Otty. That being said, I'd also like to acknowledge Ms. Zhaurova, Ms. Giacchino, Mr. Patterson, and Dr. Wambui. History can very easily become a dry subject, especially when teachers rely heavily on textbooks. Ms. Otty grounded her lessons in discussions and argumentative papers, which made her class consistently enjoyable.

What are some of the out-of-school time (OST) programs that you participated in between grades 6 - 12?
PROMYS

How did being enrolled in any OST program(s) contribute to your success in and out of high school?
Unsure.

What did you like most about CRLS? Why?
People at Rindge have all sorts of interests. Given any specific subject area, I could always find at least one person who was interested in having a conversation, whether it be about Latin, math, or the Celtics. I wouldn't hesitate to say that I learned as much from my peers as I did from my teachers (in a good way)!

What is something people unfamiliar with CRLS should know about the school? Why?
The fifth floor is accessible only by two sets of stairs, each on an opposite side of the main building. This may seem trivial, but it took me far too long to figure that out!
