The Cambridge Rindge and Latin World Jazz Ensemble performed a concert featuring straight-ahead jazz, Latin jazz, and hip-hop music. The event raised over $2000 for the ensemble's upcoming trip to the Panama Jazz Festival in January 2024.
"For me, as a music educator, it is essential to share with our community the music that the students create during the semester. They learn so many skills, including producing a concert, sound design, learning jazz improvisation, phrasing, and developing a repertoire. This time, The Foundry provided a great opportunity to showcase the World Jazz Ensemble music, and it also allowed us to fundraise for our upcoming trip to perform at the Panama Jazz Festival."
