Lit Magazine
The literary magazine is a student-run and student-published literary magazine. The club solicits submissions for the entire student body throughout the year and meets weekly in order to read submissions and votes on pieces to be included in the annual magazine. The magazine is published in May and sold to the CRLS community, family, and friends.

Poetry Club
Poetry Club is a place for students to create, share and listen to poetry! Each week there is a focus on a different poetic style and/or poetic device for students to explore and then practice. The students that run the club are passionate about helping others through the writing process and creating a comfortable environment to share written work. Poetry Club is a great place for students to express themselves creatively through writing and is always looking for new members to join! The club runs from 2:45 - 4PM on Thursdays in room 2320.

Scholastic Writing Awards
The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards are the nation’s longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens in grades 7–12. To apply, students must ask a faculty member to sponsor them and then submit a portfolio of work for consideration.
