Driver's Education

The CRLS Drivers Education Program is a state approved program that serves the Cambridge community and is led by Mr. Bill Timmins. Prior to registration, please read the information on registration and the classroom experience here.

General Information for the Driver's Education Class

Registration: Wednesday, January 22 | 3:05-4PM 
Students must register in person. Please fill out registration form >>

Where: In-person in the Automotive Garage Classroom.

When: Classes meet two times per week on Mondays and Wednesdays, starting January 27. Students must attend 30 hours of classroom instruction per the Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV).

Cost: $700, covers all in-person classroom sessions, the parent/caregiver class, and behind-the-wheel instruction and observation hours. This does not cover any fees charged by the Registry of Motor Vehicles for the learner's permit, road test, or license. That is the responsibility of the student driver.

Please note: A state mandated 2-hour class must be attended by a parent/caregiver for any student driver under 18 years of age.
