Favorite Class at CRLS
Science. I love learning how the world works. My science teachers have helped me change the way I view the world and the things I use everyday. I enjoy experiencing the concepts that are taught instead of just being told that things are a certain way.

Favorite Teacher
I have had numerous teachers that have helped shape the way I learn and view the world but my favorite has to be Ms. Hansel. Ms. Hansel has an ability to make extremely complicated concepts seem understandable. She has helped me look at the world in a different way and to question everything until it makes sense to me. She also has helped me realize that I can learn things for myself and makes sense of things on my own, which has given me confidence to tackle intimidating and difficult challenges.

What are some of the out-of-school time (OST) programs that you participated in between grades 6 - 12?
N/A

How did being enrolled in any OST program(s) contribute to your success in and out of high school?
N/A

What did you like most about CRLS? Why?
The variety of opportunities that are offered. Our school has so many resources that no matter what you are interested in there is a place associated with those interests. I have had trouble limiting the organizations and clubs that I take part in because, there are more things I want to do than I have time for. There are also so many interesting and specific classes that most schools wouldn't be able to offer. You have the freedom to dive deeply into a subject of interest or explore something new.

What is something people unfamiliar with CRLS should know about the school? Why?
There are truly all different kinds of people. People with seemingly nothing in common and with completely different backgrounds all go to school together here. There is no such thing as a "typical CRLS student."

Advice to Incoming Freshmen
There are a ton that this school has to offer, but you have to actively search out opportunities. Try a new sport or join a club that you wouldn't necessarily think to join. If you are interested in something, do everything you can to get involved, and don't wait around.
