In 2016, CRLS opened a food pantry in response to the growing problem of food insecurity with our most vulnerable students. For many students their main source of nutrition is the
school food service program. The food pantry helps supplement evening and
weekend meals. It is called the
Falcon's Market and services over 100 students and families
a week.
Falcon's Market is self supporting through generous donations from staff, families, and community remembers as well as biweekly deliveries of produce from
Food For Free, a local non-profit who has been rescuing food from markets and delivering it to shelters and pantries for almost 40 years.
If you know a CRLS student or family in need of extra food, please contact
Dr. Alysa Breyer.
