Favorite Class at CRLS
Math. I am very great with numbers and problem solving. My mom signed me up for classes when I was little and ever since then I have always had a love for math.
Favorite Teacher
Ms. Breyer. She is my favorite staff person at CRLS because, throughout my four years at being at Rindge I have had her for two of them. She is an exceptional math teacher. The way she dedicates her time to students who need extra help is very admirable. The way she makes sure that you have a great understanding of the curriculum before she moves on to a new unit is very helpful. Lastly, the way she wants to see every student succeed, is just amazing.

Breakthrough
How did being enrolled in any OST program(s) contribute to your success in and out of high school?
Breakthrough has had a huge impact on my four years of high school, especially during my senior year. My college counselor through Breakthrough arranged to have someone help me with my college process, and she was a huge help. Without her and Breakthrough, I would have struggled getting a good start on the process.
What did you like most about CRLS? Why?
I liked the fact that there was a wide range of classes and electives to choose from. You have to take a couple of prerequisites but for majority of the time you could take whatever classes you wanted to take.
What is something people unfamiliar with CRLS should know about the school? Why?
There are a lot of electives to choose from. I never took the time to take an elective that I probably would have enjoyed, but when you're choosing classes you have a bunch of options and you have to make sure you sign up before they fill up fast!
Advice to Incoming Freshmen
Start off strong and finish off strong. I know you may want to meet new friends freshmen year and go out to football games, but you will have all of that when you get accepted into a good college! Just wait for your turn!
