Favorite subject at CRLS
Computer science and biology
Why is it your favorite subject?
For computer science, I love the logic, language, and creation aspects of coding. For biology, I love exploring the systems that make living organisms work and seeing connections between everything in the natural world.
Favorite CRLS Staff Person
Mr. McGlathery, Mr. Cohen and Ms. D
What makes that staff person so special?
Mr. McGlathery is so patient and cares so much about helping all of his students. Mr. Cohen is so dedicated to teaching, leads the best classroom discussions, and honestly taught me how to write. Ms. D is so kind and makes dance at CRLS a welcoming place for everyone.

N/A
What did you like most about CRLS? Why?
CRLS has a huge variety in its course catalog and you have a lot of choice in what classes you take. For example, this semester I took a marine science internship class where I got the opportunity to leave school after third period and work in an actual lab, which was amazing but not something I feel like a lot of people know about.
What is something people unfamiliar with CRLS should know about the school? Why?
There are bridges between the Rindge and Arts buildings on both the second and third floors. The third floor bridge is often much less crowded and nice and warm in the winter.
What advice would you give incoming freshmen about CRLS?
Be kind, don’t be afraid to talk to new people, and make time for the things that you are passionate about. Also, take an arts class! The VPA (Visual and Performing Arts) department at CRLS is amazing!
